- After San Diego, I suffered through May without going to any shows (a few of which, like Tempe, probably were close enough to do). As June rolled in I decided to go to the Oakland shows, both for U2 and for Oasis. I managed to find a single in the 14th row center from someone on the internet, and I headed up to Oakland the morning of the 18th.
The show was solid -- they'd really gotten things together, I thought -- although I was bummed they'd dropped "Do You Feel Loved" from the set. There was, however, that sudden bit of "All I Want Is You" to make the night magic.
This time, I was a bit more daring, and I brought a little $15 camera from Target and some 1000 speed film. It's not a great camera, but was a step up from the disposables. I stayed in my seat, so these are mostly screen shots.
